AR Coating 630-1100nm Plano-Convex Lenses
Our plano-convex lenses are coated with wavelength range of 630-1100nm, improving the light transmission performance of the lens. This AR (Anti-Reflective) coating is achieved by coating the surface of the lens with one or more layers of a thin film whose refractive index is between that of air and the lens material. When light waves strike the coated surface, the light waves reflected from the inner and outer surfaces of the film phase interfere, thereby minimizing reflected light and increasing transmitted light.
